Wash-a-thon to Benefit Prison Greyhounds at Healthy Hounds

Prison Greyhounds, Inc. is a new greyhound rescue program based in Indianapolis. PGI is a 501c3 nonprofit that rescues greyhounds who are in the prime of their life, and then matches them with specially selected inmates within Indiana prisons. Over a period of approximately twelve weeks, the dogs are fostered, trained, socialized, loved and then adopted to Forever Homes in the community. The dogs’ male or female inmate handlers receive job skills, teamwork experience, and a valuable opportunity to find the hero within them... maybe for the very first time.

Bring in your Dirty Dog and let our volunteer washers get them all spiffed up just in time for Valentine’s Day! ALL wash-a-thon profits will be donated to PGI. Baths $12; Nail Trims $8; Microchips $15; Photos $5 (4x6 photos by Goldberg Photography)
