The Entrepreneurship Advancement Center (EAC) will present “So You Want to Start Your Own Business,” a seminar designed to help aspiring small business owners realize their dreams. The seminar will be held February 16 from 4:00-5:30 p.m. in the first floor conference room of 10333 N. Meridian Street, Indianapolis.
In the workshop, local small business owners will offer information about starting a business with their own original idea, buying an existing business or starting a franchise. Featured speakers include Nick Mathioudakis, a partner with Baker & Daniels, Doug Boehme, of Beacon Business Exchange and Joe Lazzara, owner of Joe’s Butcher Shop.
“Small businesses are a vital part of our local economy,” said Cathy Langlois, executive director of the EAC. “But it can be complicated to start one. Where do you begin? This workshop will give people the information that they need to take that jump into entrepreneurship.”
The cost of the event is $30. To register, please visit http://eac.eventbrite.com/.
