MASS MUTUAL FINANCIAL GROUP

I work for Mass Mutual Financial Group in Indianapolis. We concentrate on educating people and businesses on the benefits of comprehensive financial planning, by showing them the pieces that hold together a strong financial picture that ensures long term financial success. These pieces include an emergency fund, having a will and trust if applicable created, life insurance, disability insurance, making sure you have proper umbrella polcies in place, having college savings strategies in place if needed, retirement and tax strategies, creating asset allocation and investment strategies, making sure a retirement benefit analysis is created when retirement time is nearing, long term care strategies as they pertain to having your money work for you after you retire, and finally estate tax strategies. With all these pieces in place, you are assured to have a long term plan in place that will allow you to have the best possible outcome for retirement. Eliminating or reducing tax implications that might be present if otherwise not have planned for and creating goals to acheive for retirement, while protecting your family from a number of unfortunate events.

The need for this care is growing rapidly. Half of all women and a third of all men reaching the age of 65 will enter a nursing home, and more will need some kind of in house care. You don… Continue

LIFE AND DISABILITY INCOME INSURANCE

Term insurance
Term insurance enables you to buy insurance for a certain number of years (usually 10 to 30) at a certain price (called "a premium"), which you pay each year.

If you die during this time, the value of your life insurance will go to your "beneficiaries" (usually your family, but you get to decide exactly who when you buy your policy). But if you are still alive at the end of the term, or if you cancel your policy, no benefits will be paid to you or your family.

There are a number… Continue
