The insanity plea is bunk. I saw first hand in a murder trial how the insanity plea works.....it didn't work in that case and with one of the best defense attorneys in the State of Indiana. If Marcus can show he can make restitution; in my opinion, the State of Indiana will cut a deal before trial.

I really can't say what will happen at the federal level but I have to believe that is where the prison time will be spent.

As far as Michelle, separation, separation, separation. She realizes he is in deap chit and when that happens its human nature to take the "every person for themselves" attitude. I would be shocked if she has anything more to do with him. I think she is smarter than anyone giving her credit.

Bizzy - There is one more letter that Marcus wrote to the AP which was received by them on Wednesday. I don't think the letter has been released in it's entirety to the public (I haven't been able to find it anywhere), but here is the link that quotes parts of the letter.

My favorite line of the whole Schrenker deal, where it describes Geist, and (more specifically) Cocktail Cove as:

in an upscale neighborhood known as "Cocktail Cove," where affluent boaters often socialized with cocktails in hand.

Are they insinuating that there is actually a lake anywhere on this planet where "affluent" "partially affluent" and "definitely not affluent" boaters DON'T socialize "with cocktails in hand???" Like that is Geist's claim to fame- it's the lake, you know, I can't remember the name of it but it's that one where boaters socialize "with cocktail in hand."

Craig - DUDE!!! That is funnier than $heee-oootttt!

I thought that line about "affluent boaters socialize with drinks in hand" was classic. It is a nasty mud puddle and half the people in "cocktail cove" (or more) probably can not even afford the "drinks in hand"! LMFAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Pat: yep, I think Cocktail Cove probably has the highest BK &/or residents accused of a felony rate, per capita, of any neighborhood in Indy. Great place to raise a family-

I need a slogan for the sign. Like move the CC up closre to the fabulous and do a small slogan underneath OR, a pair of cocktail glasses on each side of Cocktail Cove.
